Medha Verma is pursuing PhD in Nursing from National Consortium, Indian Nursing Council working on Nursing Informatics in Indian Scenario. She is part of editorial team of Online Journal of Nursing Informatics (HIMSS) and is member of student editorial board of Indian Journal of Medical Informatics. She has received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences. Her specialty is Critical Care Nursing and often conducts workshops for nurses in Critical Care, Basic and Advance life support. At Bodhi Health Education, her responsibilities are to identify and develop video based educational programs for nurses & allied health professionals. She has previously worked as Nurse Educator at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi where she was involved in educational initiatives such as orientation program for nurses, conducting In-service classes, coordination with research activity, conducting recruitment examination and facilitation of other Inter-departmental activities. She has been Course Coordinator for Post Basic Diploma in Critical Care Nursing recognized by Indian Nursing Council and worked as a clinical instructor at MM University, Ambala. She has contributed as a Co-author to ICU manual on Role of Critical Care Nurse and Burnout Syndrome in Health Care Professionals. Her areas of interest are research, nursing informatics and communication. She recently participated at International Nursing Informatics Conference, Geneva on the use of Electronic Health Records by nurses. She loves to dance and is trained in street jazz. She enjoys reading thrillers and inspirational books to stay positive.
